ROCKFORD, IL: November 18, 2013 – US Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) announced today the awarding of $1,922,237 in Affordable Care Act funding to clients of theFranaGroup. Funding will help to establish four new Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) in three states; two in Illinois, one in Indiana and one in Michigan. Awards ranged from $145,070 to $810,500 to each clinic in the first year. The US Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) is committed to providing more people across the country with the quality patient-centered care they deserve. Health centers are key partners in improving access to quality, affordable primary health care services for those who need it most.
