VNA Health Care Awarded $378,550 through the Affordable Care Act
Rockford IL, May 21, 2012: theFranaGroup, a national healthcare consulting firm, announced today the awarding of $378,550 from the Affordable Care Act to provide funds to renovate VNA Health Care’s school based clinic in Aurora East High School. The funds will be used to increase exam room space and improve the clinic’s operating efficiency. “School based health clinics are a key resource for improving the health status of students, and reducing absenteeism due to health conditions. Students’ time in the class room is increased, strengthening the school’s ability to improve learning outcomes,” stated John Frana, President.
