ROCKFORD, IL: August 26, 2022 – theFranaGroup is pleased to announce that A.L. Diaz, Controller at Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Santa Rosa, CA, and Eric C. Blum, CFO of Hamilton Health Center, Harrisburg, PA, have joined theFranaGroup as Fiscal Associates. Diaz and Blum will be bringing to theFranaGroup over 35 years of experience in finance for the healthcare community, specializing in Federally Qualified Health Centers. They bring to theFranaGroup the ability to provide all financial management aspects of Bureau of Primary Care Section 330 Grantees including program requirements, internal and external reporting, internal controls, financial policies and procedures, budgeting, cost reporting, cash flow management, financial analysis, systems implementation, billing and collections, accounts receivable and grants management.
Diaz has an M.B.A. from St. Mary’s College and a B.S. in Accounting from San Francisco State University and served in several leadership roles in California including, CFO of Omni Family Health (FQHC), CFO at La Clinica, CFO at Oak Valley Hospital, and CFO at So. Bay Family Health (FQHC).
Blum has an M.B.A. and an M.H.A from Minnesota State University, a B.S. in Accounting from North Dakota State University, and Intelligence Analyst studies from Cochise College in Arizona. Blum served in several leadership roles including, Financial Planning Analyst, RDO Equipment, Fargo, ND, CFO, Family Healthcare Center, Fargo, ND, and Intelligence Analyst, Minnesota Army National Guard, Brainerd, MN.
