US Department of Health & Human Services announced the awarding of ACA funding to four clients of theFranaGroup.

US Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) announced the awarding of Affordable Care Act (ACA) funding to four clients of theFranaGroup from four states totaling $1 Million. theFranaGroup clients received $250,000 each in funding to add or expand access to mental health and substance abuse services. Clients located in four states – Illinois, Louisiana, Michigan, and South Carolina – received funding.

These awards provide health centers funds to improve access and care for individuals in need of mental health services. Health centers can use this funding to hire new mental health professionals, add mental health and substance use disorder health services, and employ integrated models of primary care. These funds support the Obama Administration’s focus on improving recognition of and responding to the mental health needs of people nationwide.
