Rockford, IL: September 18, 2018 – In 2017, theFranaGroup clients in 16 states served over 673,600 unduplicated patients with over 2,020,800 outpatient visits. As a result, these healthcare facilities better served their communities and improved the overall access and quality of health services provided to the most at-risk populations.
FQHCs now represent the largest primary practice in the United States. In 2017 they served more than 25.8 million patients including more than 300,000 Veterans with over 104 million patient visits at over 13,000 service sites with a combined staffing of over 207,000 health care professionals. FQHCs now provide primary care to one in thirteen adults and one in ten children living in the United States.
