Funds will go to pursuing post-secondary training
Rockford, IL; March 4, 2019 – theFranaGroup today announced the availability of two (2) $1,000 scholarships to be awarded May 15 during a scholarship reception at the Burpee Museum of Natural History. One scholarship will be awarded to an employee of Crusader Community Health or one of their dependents, and one scholarship will go to a graduate of Rockford Public School District 205 (does not need to be a current graduate). This is the fifth year theFranaGroup has provided the scholarships.
Scholarships will be awarded through a blind drawing of applicants’ names and can be used for any post-secondary training the applicant is pursuing. The application process does not require a minimum GPA, letter of recommendation or essay. Applications for the Crusader Community Health scholarship and applications for RPS graduates can be obtained from Kim Durham, Administrative Assistant for theFranaGroup, at kimdurham29@gmail.com.
Deadline to apply is April 15. Recipients or family members of recipients must be present on May 15 to receive the award.
